Alia Bhatt completes 10 years in Film Industry

Alia Bhatt, who made her cinematic debut in Student of the Year, has been in the business for ten years.

Alia Bhatt, who is expecting a child, is celebrating today because she has worked in the Indian film industry for ten years. Alia shared her gratitude on Instagram as she celebrated the unique moment.

"Today marks 10 years, and I am so appreciative every single day." I commit to improving and working harder! Thank you, she said, attaching a sun-kissed photo of herself. Kareena Kapoor immediately wrote, "The best there is," after Alia posted.

2012 saw Alia make her acting debut in Student of the Year. With movies like Highway, Raazi, Dear Zindagi, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Kapoor and Sons, and Darlings, she has often demonstrated her mettle. She has also straddled the line with more mainstream choices like Brahmastra, the Dulhania trilogy, 2 States, and others.

She played the role of a wealthy and beautiful girl named Shanaya in her debut film. In Imtiaz Ali's follow-up, Highway, she played a child abuse survivor who begins to feel affection for her captor.

In addition to this, she established herself in 2022 with a 200-crore box office haul. She also made her acting debut in the South Indian movie RRR, which broke numerous records and is currently receiving positive Oscar buzz.

However, her journey was not as simple as it seemed. She received harsh teasing for not knowing the President of India when she first appeared on the infamously contentious show "Koffee WITH KARAN." She also received the moniker "NEPO KID," and the media was never kept in the dark about her personal life.

Her career began with the release of Karan Johar's SOTY, which becomes 10 years old now. Since that time, she hasn't turned back, acting in films like Udta Punjab where she portrays a Bihar immigrant who wants to make a difference in her life and breakthrough to success.

Then she received adoration from the audience for her role as a young woman with mental illness in Gauri Shinde's DEAR ZINDAGI. She later went on to star in movies like Badrinath ki Dulhania, Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania, Gully Boy, 2 States, and Raazi in which she plays a spy torn between her love for her life and her country's loyalty. Everyone cheered for the movie, which also did well at the box office.

She recently experimented with herself in two films: the heavily hyped Ayan Mukherji Brahmastra, in which she played the lead with her husband Ranbir Kapoor, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi, which premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival.

Recently, she appeared in the domestic violence-focused Netflix original series "Darlings" by Red Chilies Productions. Heart of Stone, which also stars Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan, will be her massive Hollywood debut. In 2023, Netflix will release the action spy thriller.

Alia Bhatt recently wed Ranbir Kapoor and will soon welcome her first child. She has won Filmfare and IIFA awards for her films, and there is talk that she could take home a national prize for Gangubai, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
