Sidhu Moosewala Murder Accused Sachin Bishnoi Extradited to India from Azerbaijan

In a significant breakthrough, the Delhi Police Special Cell successfully extradited Sachin Bishnoi, also known as Sachin Thapan, the prime suspect in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case, from Baku, Azerbaijan. Bishnoi, who had fled the country using forged documents, was responsible for the fatal shooting of Sidhu Moosewala and had admitted to his involvement two days after the incident.

The Special Cell's team had been dispatched to Azerbaijan to bring back Bishnoi, who had escaped to Dubai under the alias of Tilak Raj Tuteja. He later flew to Azerbaijan's capital, Baku, where he was apprehended by local authorities. Bishnoi attempted to avoid extradition by filing an appeal before a higher appellate authority in Azerbaijan, but the rejection paved the way for his return to India.

Last week, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) also made a significant arrest, capturing Vikramjeet Singh alias Vikram Brar, a crucial accomplice of incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Vikram Brar, who was deported from the UAE to India, is allegedly involved in the killing of Sidhu Moosewala and has been connected to several other targeted killings, smuggling of weapons, and extortion cases with Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar's assistance.

The successful extradition of Sachin Bishnoi and the arrest of Vikramjeet Singh represent significant milestones in the pursuit of justice for the tragic murder of Sidhu Moosewala. The authorities are now preparing to bring both suspects to trial and unravel the intricate web of criminal activities they were allegedly involved in.
