Ayush visas will be introduced by the government for foreigners seeking traditional Indian remedies.


At the inaugural session of the Global Ayush Investment and Innovation Summit 2022 at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar, PM Modi said that the Centre has a plethora of initiatives to encourage and promote the Ayush sector. He added that India will soon also introduce an AYUSH visa category for international travellers seeking traditional treatment in the country.

"With this visa, it will be easier to travel to India for Ayush therapies," Prime Minister Modi stated.


India is known around the world for its Ayurvedic therapies and medications, which have been used for thousands of years to cure and mend a variety of maladies.


In addition, the government has been working to market the many advantages of traditional medicine and Ayurveda to overseas visitors who come to India for these treatments. It will now be simpler for them to do so.


PM Modi said the Centre has a slew of policies to stimulate and promote the Ayush industry during the inaugural session of the Global Ayush Investment and Innovation Summit 2022 at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar. He went on to say that India will soon offer an AYUSH visa category for international visitors seeking traditional Indian therapy.
