A section of the boundary wall at Gokulpuri Metro station collapsed on Thursday, resulting in a tragic incident. One person lost their life, while four others sustained injuries. The injured individuals were promptly transported to a nearby hospital, as confirmed by the Delhi Fire Service. DCP North East, Joy Tirkey, stated, "At least 3 to 4 persons suffered injuries. One individual was trapped under the debris and sustained severe injuries, while the others suffered minor injuries." Efforts to clear the debris are underway with the assistance of JCBs and cranes. Local police and Metro staff are actively involved at the scene. A case has been registered in connection with the incident.
