Guinness World Records crowned Monday as the worst day of the week.

The GWR announced Monday to be the "worst day of the week" earlier this week.

Given that it is the first day of the week and many people find Monday to be slow and exceedingly uninteresting because they have to work after the weekend, Guinness World Records has named Monday as the "worst day of the week."

The likelihood that you detest Mondays if you have a routine nine-to-five job is rather high, especially following a fun-filled weekend. It is difficult for most people to return to work mode at 9 a.m. the following day because they are most likely in a holiday mood and have no obligations on Sunday. As a result, Mondays have the dubious reputation of being the most despised day by many people.

Guinness World Records tweeted, "We're officially giving Monday the record for the worst day of the week," confirming the same sentiment.

The message was published by Guinness World Records' official Twitter account, and it has already gotten over 4.28 lakh likes.

On October 17, the GWR tweeted that it was the worst day of the week. In response, the GWR wrote, "Guess this makes Friday the best day of the week then."

Several Twitter users offered their opinions on this; some thought Friday was the finest day, while others said it should be Saturday.

Guinness World Records responded "clever" to a Twitter user who said, "I take Mondays off just for this reason." Another user said, "Took you long enough." Regarding Wednesday, It sounds strange," added another.

Another remark said, "Petition for Mondays to be outlawed so that after the next Monday we will be Tuesday, we ban that too because it follows Sunday, therefore Everyday After Sunday will be banned and we only have a Sunday."

Another user of the internet wrote, "If you get your Mondays right, you get the rest of the week correct." “Question. Another person chimed in, "Since when wasn't Monday the worst day of the week in the first place? Another person said, "That emotion on Sunday night is much worse than Monday morning."

One user commented, "We work on Saturdays too".

Another person said, "I'll choose Saturday because the next day is also off."

On the post, several Twitter users commented "absolutely."
