Today's 5.6-magnitude earthquake shook India's capital, along with Noida, Ghaziabad, and nearby cities.
Early on Wednesday, a 6.6-magnitude earthquake rocked Nepal, causing tremors to be felt in portions of north India, including Delhi, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, and Lucknow. In the Doti district of Nepal, a house collapse claimed the lives of at least six individuals.
A 6.3 on the Richter scale earthquake, according to the National Centre for Seismology, began in Nepal around 1.57 am. The tremors began 90 kilometres southeast of Pithoragarh in the Uttarakhand region of India, which borders Nepal.
Two earthquakes of 4.9 and 3.5 magnitudes struck the area earlier on Tuesday evening.

A number of locations in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand also experienced earthquake tremors today. Meanwhile, the USGS stated that Dipayal, Nepal served as the earthquake's epicentre.
