He has changed from being all spark plug and no gears to being on careful cruise control without forgoing any scoring opportunities. The first episode of the series starts at the very beginning and goes up to his 20-year-old Indian debut. In the second episode, Chhetri talks about his enormous desire to play professional football for a premier foreign club and how he is starting to excel for the national team. • Arvind Kejriwal Banners Torn By BJP Supporters Ahead Of AAP's Gujarat Rally

Protesting against alleged "anti-Hindu" statements by an Aam Aadmi Party minister in Delhi, supporters of the ruling BJP in Gujarat's Vadodara today tore the AAP's banners ahead of a scheduled rally by party boss Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Police later detained some of the protesters to try and calm the situation, and the AAP's 'Tiranga Rally' began nearly three hours after the scheduled 4pm on a rainy day. The AAP has been campaigning vigorously in PM Narendra Modi's home state, where elections are due in December. Senior AAP leader Durgesh Pathak tweeted: "This hooliganism shows the BJP's fear of defeat in Gujarat." The protesters pointed towards Delhi minister Rajendra Pal Gautam's oath at a mass conversion event to Buddhism in Delhi, where he was among thousands who recited BR Ambedkar's 22 vows that include denouncing Hindu Gods and Brahminical traditions. While the AAP has maintained silence — except party sources saying Mr Kejriwal is "extremely upset" with his minister — Mr Gautam has since apologised for hurting “anyone's religious sentiments”. But he has also cited freedom of religion and said he only repeated vows taken by the legendary Dalit leader, who converted to Buddhism at such an event in 1956. The vows include a pledge for equality and no faith in incarnations of God. The protesters in Vadodara today — some of who said they are "ordinary, proud Hindus" and "not with the BJP" — cited that the Delhi event as an affront to Hinduism. "That AAP minister (Rajendra Pal Gautam) made thousands of Hindus change their religion," a woman who tore AAP posters alleged. The event was held by Jai Bheem Mission, an NGO founded by Mr Gautam, where nearly 7,000 people, mostly Dalits, embraced Buddhism. It was attended by a great-grandnephew of BR Ambedkar, Rajratna Ambedkar. BJP has filed police police complaints and shared the event's video on Twitter, accusing the AAP minister of "spewing venom against Hindus".

  • Starting in October, the FDA recently approved the sale of hearing aids over-the-counter in the Unit

Only 16% of the approximately 37.5 million Americans who experience hearing loss wear hearing aids. If neglected, hearing loss can result in despair, anxiety, low self-esteem, dementia, limited mobility, falls as well as social isolation. A recent study revealed that just 10% of older persons between the ages of 50 and 80 could correctly identify what is considered a "normal" range of hearing, despite hearing loss being one of the top three most prevalent health problem disorders. According to a similar study, many primary care physicians are unaware that hearing loss can be successfully treated and avoided. The FDA recently authorised the selling of hearing aids for "over-the-counter" use. In the US, there are around 30 million persons who suffer from hearing loss. And with this permission, hearing aids might become more accessible and affordable. Traditionally, an audiologist or other competent practitioner had to disperse hearing aids. "Patients can now choose to utilise that technology on their own. "This product will be available for purchase by adults above the age of 18 without a formal examination. However, certified hearing aid specialists encourage everyone to get tested. Hearing aids sold over-the-counter (OTC) are an alternative to prescription devices that can only be obtained from hearing healthcare professionals including audiologists, otolaryngologists, and hearing aid specialists. Another sort of amplification device that is available over the counter is personal sound amplification items, which are used for hearing sounds in specific contexts rather than treating hearing loss. If any of the following apply to you: Other sounds, such as speech, seem muted. When you're around others, in a busy environment, on the phone, or when you can't see who is speaking, you have problems hearing. You must ask them to speak louder, more slowly, or more clearly, or to repeat themselves. You watch TV, listen to music, or listen to the radio at a volume that is louder than what most people find comfortable.

  • Airbnb unveils the "Live anywhere, work anywhere" idea, or complete work from home.

Airbnb unveils the "Live anywhere, work anywhere" idea, or complete work from home. A new travel landscape has arisen since the COVID-19 outbreak started. The choice of where to live and work has become more flexible for millions of people. Airbnb has unveiled its strategy for enabling employees to live and work anywhere as well as how they will engage with travel destinations to assist them in drawing in remote workers in response to this trend of increased flexibility. The "live anywhere, work anywhere" mentality that much of business has been compelled to adopt is being fully embraced by Airbnb, which has committed to full-time remote work for the majority of employees as well as a few benefits like 90 days of international work or travel. It's a clear, straightforward strategy that so few significant businesses have had the guts to adopt. Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky summarised the new policy in five points in an email to staff that was published on the company blog, as well as in a Twitter thread for those who can't be bothered: Working from home or an office is an option. Your pay will be the same regardless of where you work in the country. You have the freedom to work and travel anywhere on the globe. We'll arrange regular get-togethers. We'll keep up our well-coordinated effort. All employees have the option to work from home, with the exception of "a small number of roles" for which being present in an office or location is necessary (and who likely already know this). As per the company, as long as the employee remains within the nation, their pay won't alter if they decide to move. Numerous businesses have released draught policies with the intention of revising them after a few months. The "hybrid" or "flex" model, in which workers work from home the majority of the time but occasionally come into the office, is a hot topic. This might be the best of both worlds or the worst of both worlds, depending on where and how you work. However, it does imply a certain lack of decisiveness on the part of the leader. Maybe Airbnb will serve as the test subject for this specific form of "totally remote workplace," and the other businesses will be watching and waiting to see if the company trips over some significant new tax burden or productivity issue. However, the policy's clarity and adaptability, international law restrictions notwithstanding, may outweigh any new troubles it creates.

  • The well-known comic Raju Srivastav, also known as Gajodhar, has passed away.

According to his family, the comedian Raju Srivastava passed away suddenly in Delhi at the age of 58. On August 10, he was brought to AIIMS Delhi after collapsing at the gym while experiencing chest trouble. Srivastava experienced a severe heart arrest on the treadmill on August 10. On the same day, his cousin Ashok Srivastava told the media that "he was doing his normal exercise when he was on the treadmill, and he abruptly went down." Immediately after this, he was admitted to AIIMS Hospital in New Delhi and underwent angioplasty the same day. This procedure, also known as balloon angioplasty and percutaneous transluminal angioplasty, is performed to expand arteries and veins that have been clogged or constricted as a result of arterial atherosclerosis. For people whose heart function has already been damaged, the angioplasty operation is advised. It is used to dissolve fatty plaque buildup in blood vessels. The news of Srivastava's health has shocked and saddened his supporters in equal measure. He experienced a heart attack at the same time when various concerns regarding the safety of exercise for heart health surfaced. He was exercising as usual, just like his cousin. Experts claim that ignoring or misdiagnosing blood artery blockages makes cardiac arrests during exercise inevitable. Exercise may occasionally cause cardiac arrest due to electrical abnormalities in the heart. The fatty plaques may burst as a result of strenuous exertion, resulting in a heart attack. Gajodhar Srivastava, who was incredibly well-liked, had a distinguished career in the field. In addition to working in the entertainment sector, he also worked in politics. In the 2014 Lok Sabha election, he ran as a Samajwadi Party candidate from Kanpur. He later joined the BJP as a Samajwadi Party candidate in the 2014 Lok Sabha Election, claiming reasons for his departure from the party.

  • Historic introduction of 8 Cheetahs in India by PM Narendra Modi

PM Modi welcomes "India's visitors" to Kuno National Park 70 years after their extinction. On September 17, which is also Prime Minister Modi's 72nd birthday, eight cheetahs arrived in Gwalior from Namibia's capital Windhoek at 8 am. The Kuno-Palpur National Park in Madhya Pradesh is where the animals were released (KPNP). Though India proclaimed cheetahs extinct in 1952, PM Modi said, it is regrettable that no proactive steps were taken to restore them for many years. The largest animal relocation effort in history is taking place with the arrival of these cheetahs from Namibia. Villagers in the Sheopur district of Madhya Pradesh are worried about a number of things, including the dread of the big cat itself and the worry of land acquisition. National Geographic released a report which stated that cheetahs are facing extinction all around the globe due to climate change, human hunting, and habitat destruction, all of which are hampering the size of their populations. Another issue is that cheetahs' genes potentially put their own existence in peril. Since cheetahs have a relatively low likelihood of having a successful pregnancy, their species does not reproduce frequently or readily. Because of their smaller number, it is even more difficult for them to adjust to various surroundings. The Indian Royal Families and nobility for ages greatly favoured cheetahs since they were simpler to train and shape than tigers. The Kalyani Chalukya emperor Someshvara III Sanskrit work Manasollasa, written in the 12th century, contains the oldest historical evidence of cheetahs being utilised for hunting in India. Cheetah coursing, or using tamed cheetahs for hunting, was a pastime of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. Cheetahs nearly became extinct under British rule because no one hunted them. They preferred to go for elephants, bison, and tigers. For the creation of communities and the planting of indigo, tea, and coffee plantations, forests were extensively destroyed. In turn, the cheetahs' natural habitat was lost as a result. When an animal inbreds and mates with a member of their own family, it is another crucial component, according to the genetic analysis of cheetahs. Consequently, the gene pool of the cheetah population is limited. The residual population's ability to adjust to environmental changes is made more challenging by harmful mutations and problems like diminished genetic variety. These cheetahs, which PM Modi is bringing to India, were chosen after being evaluated for their health, untamed nature, hunting prowess, and potential to contribute genetic material. They will also undergo regular monitoring. According to Modi Ji, it would take a few months before visitors and enthusiasts may view cheetahs in the wild because the creatures require some time to become used to their new environment. After Maharaja Ramanuj Pratap Singh Deo killed the last of the species' progeny in 1947, the Asiatic cheetah was officially declared extinct in India in 1952. As part of an international translocation initiative, the large cats are currently being transported from Namibia to India.

  • Maintaining heart health with superfoods

A nutritious diet can lower your risk of coronary heart disease, prevent you from gaining weight, lower your risk of diabetes and high blood pressure, and lower your risk of getting the diseases. You can lower your risk of heart disease by eating certain foods. Your chance of developing heart disease can be lowered with some attentive eating. These heart-healthy superfoods lower blood pressure, boost good cholesterol, and aid in preventing plaque buildup in your arteries. They also contain critical vitamins and minerals, fibre, potent antioxidants, and healthy fats. The next time you're making a meal plan, keep these superfoods in mind. Oatmeal Soluble fibre, which is abundant in this whole grain, stops the body from absorbing cholesterol. Steel-cut oats are superior to rolled oats in every way. Steel-cut oats have a low glycemic index because they take longer to digest. Foods with a low glycemic index are less likely to produce blood sugar spikes. Long bouts of elevated blood sugar over time can eventually result in conditions like diabetes and obesity, which are connected to heart disease. Beans Beans of various colors—black, white, navy, kidney, garbanzo, and others—offer substantial amounts of protein, fibre, minerals, and phytonutrients (substances found in plants thought to have beneficial effects). Consuming beans can help lower cholesterol, blood pressure, and your sensitivity to blood sugar. They have a low glycemic index, just like oats. Oranges These well-liked, widely accessible fruits have a lot going for them, including soluble fibre, which lowers cholesterol, potassium, which helps balance sodium's tendency to raise blood pressure, and vitamin C. Extra Virgin Olive oil One of the essential ingredients of the Mediterranean diet, which has been extensively praised for its heart-protective properties, is extra-virgin olive oil. Due to its high monounsaturated fat content, olive oil helps reduce the bad LDL cholesterol. Additionally, olive oil appears to prevent the blood from clotting too quickly and regulate blood sugar levels. Spinach and Kale In addition to being rich in vitamins, minerals, and fibre, dark leafy greens like spinach and kale also contain the Omega-3 fatty acid alpha-linolenic acid. Leafy greens are a vegetarian source of omega-3s, although they are not as healthy as the omega-3s found in fish. Because they provide a lot of nutrients without a lot of calories, leafy greens are particularly nutrient-dense foods. Berries Berries like blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, and others are teeming with polyphenols, which are substances obtained from plants. By neutralising oxidised LDL, which causes plaque to build up inside the arteries, they might aid in heart protection. Nuts Tree nuts like walnuts, pecans, and pistachios, as well as peanuts, which are actually legumes, are great sources of fibre, healthy fats, vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals, all of which are proven to promote heart health. Nuts increase healthy HDL cholesterol while lowering dangerous LDL cholesterol and lowering blood pressure. Dark Chocolate Flavanols, which are abundant in dark chocolate and at least 70% cocoa, may help decrease blood pressure. Just 2 ounces of dark chocolate have roughly 300 calories, so use caution when eating this sweet delicacy.
